Fans of strategy, trading, and settlement building—attention! On Saturday, June 20, the first stage of the Open Championship for the iconic board game "Catan" will begin in the atrium of the OldCity Shopping Center.

When: June 20 (Saturday) Registration starts at 11:30 AM, tournament starts at 12:00 PM. Where: OldCity Shopping Center, atrium. Organizers: OldCity Shopping Center and Hobby Games board game store.

"Catan" is a legendary board game at the intersection of economics, tactics, and luck. Colonize an island, mine resources, build roads, and trade with your neighbors. All this in a live tournament format at the OldCity Shopping Center!

The championship consists of four qualifying stages and a final. Stage I will take place on June 20.

Qualifying Stage Format: Games continue until one winner remains from all participants in the stage. This winner will receive a ticket to the final. In addition, winners of the qualifying rounds will receive a 100.00 BYN gift certificate to an electronics store and a Hobby Games club membership.

Final prizes (October): 1st place – a 500.00 BYN gift certificate to an electronics store and a new edition of CATAN.

2nd-3rd place – a 50.00 BYN gift certificate to the Hobby Games board game store.

4th place – a Hobby Games club membership.
